I used Barnard Marcus for the sale of my property and the purchase of my new property they were great (specifically Michael Griffin and Jill Parry). I found with a few other estate agents when getting valuations that they can be quite pushy however Michael was the total opposite, he provided me with my valuation and all the information I would need to make an informed decision about selling my home and didn't try to push me into getting on the market before I was ready.

My sale was actually not straight forward at all as I was buying a new build which came with a delayed completion date. Michael managed to find me a buyer that was happy to complete when I was ready to move which was going to take up to 6 months. (I can't imagine there are many people who buy a home and will be that patient).

Once prices had been agreed, the exchange process began which had several bumps in the road (solicitors fault) all of which Michael and Jill stayed on top of to keep things moving. Jill kept me updated as much as humanly possible and if it had not been for her im not sure we would have exchanged on the day that we did.

Overall I would absolutely recommend selling or buying with Barnard Marcus, they ticked all the boxes for me and charge reasonable fees based on other quotes I was provided.

Scott and Lucy at the Sanderstead office provided an excellent service when I was selling my flat. They were polite and helpful, offered professional advice, responded to phone calls and emails, and relayed messages without delay.
