Where to start?......
We had been on the market for over a year with 2 of Oxford big hitting agents. Few viewings. Little feedback. No weekly reviews.
So we reached out to Matthew with a question...."How do you sell a house that isn't selling?" His response was enough to convince us that he is different to the usual/standard offering. National mailing lists, slick brochures etc.
We met with Matthew. We spoke. He listened. He came up with new strategy. We were sold!
Matthew's listing incorporated just about everything that we love about our home. Very different to the usual estate agent descriptions that we see everywhere. His photos are great. The video that he produced was actually a video not just a stream of stills set to music.
And there's more! Matthew personally conducts his viewings to better understand the reaction from potential buyers. He documents all his viewings and shares this with us. He uses the usual platforms and experiments with social media and other media to maximise exposure.
This is all so very different to our experience with the other two agents. And it paid off.
We got 2 offers! Matthew very professionally took us through the process with advice on solicitors, liaising with our buyers through to a successful exchange of contracts.
Matthew is an old style agent bringing many years of experience in selling homes but is always questioning how to change his model to adapt to technological and market changes. He does it very well.
