Sandra is the estate agent for the house we are buying. Even though she wasn't our agent, she was so helpful through the process and her experience truly shows. She was so responsive, always on the other side of the phone for questions and yet it didn't feel like she was chasing me for anything as we truly enjoyed dealing with her. Without giving too much away, she had so much knowledge that she was able to help us move things ahead on our side and with our solicitors too. If we ever sold again we would absolutely use her.

This lady has got to be the best estate agent I have ever used. Do not haggle at her commission because she will earn every penny of that. She owns her own company, if you call she will call you back, or within a hour or two, her service is like no other. Her motivation to succeed for you, is amazing. Remember, it can be a slow process, so just stick with her. I was asked by another agent to go with them, but I firmly said no as Sandra has been doing this for years, she knows most suppliers, so it makes life easier for you. She has your back all the way. When she gets to the stage you are sold and hands you off to the solicitor he now has all your attention. laster Sandra comes back in and makes sure your sales is across the finishing line. Having had a bad experience with a previous agent we switched to Sandra and the contrast was amazing, it was a totally different experience with Sandra. She is professional, efficient, encouraging, thorough, always available and always friendly! Moving house is stressful , especially as in our case after 31 years in the same house, and Sandra made the process as smooth as possible, I told her she could be a counsellor too, she is always so positive, but realistic too. She not only sold the house quickly but she was super efficient with the progression of the whole process. Having lived in the Stevenage Old Town for 15 years, we relocated back to New Zealand, since returning, we purchased locally, so needed to sell our UK house.

When we purchased in New Zealand, the seller’s estate agent worked incredibly hard to get the best price for the vendor, this really set the standard of what we expected from an estate agent.

My wife researched and selected 3 agents through a recommendation website. I travelled back to the UK, to wrap up loose ends, meet with and choose an agent. This was our first time selling, and at the start I just thought, does it really matter who you get? Just get the cheapest, get it listed and go from there.

I met with all three and the more I spoke to them (especially the agent offering a low fixed fee), they were talking the market down, talking the property down. The more they spoke, the clearer it became, that they didn’t really care about getting the best value for the vendor, they just wanted a low price, so they could list it, sell it quickly and move onto the next commission. With a fixed fee, there was no incentive for them to even try and achieve the best price for you.

Talking with my neighbours, about how underwhelmed I was with most of the agents I spoke to, they mentioned Sandra had helped their family sell houses and they had a good experience with her, so even though we had interviewed 3 agents, I decided to talk with Sandra. You only need to look at some of her listings, and how she writes the listing. Her approach was more than just a list of rooms and amenities, there was a personal touch, it was clear she was passionate about her job, and how this reflected in her approach.

I like the fact Sandra gets to know the vendors and your home and she is the one who will show people around, a personal service, so anything special about your property could be portrayed to potential buyers, and we had lots of bespoke items that could have been missed adding value to what our house offered. Her approach and attitude resonated with us, she really understood the lengths we had gone to, to complete our renovation to a high standard and we believed she would be the best person to represent us, with her knowledge of the local area, and the ability for her to put forward our property in the best light.

Even though Sandra works on a percentage fee, which from the outset, this looked to be the most expensive option, but we believed she would be the best value, and she delivered. From the listing, to viewings, managing an offer and then helping with the process of surveys, queries, and communication with the buyers, moving the solicitors along and completion. During the whole process (especially as we were now selling the house from New Zealand) she went above and beyond what we expected.

We found Sandra to be a genuinely very nice person, with a passion for what she does, illustrating how buying a house, is as much about emotions, connecting people, as it is about how many rooms you have.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Sandra and an estate agent and we wish her the very best.
