Found a carrier for me very quickly and for a good price. Communication could be slightly better especially because my delivery was delayed. I had to reach out several times for an update, some replies would take hours. I wish they updated me on the car’s location when it arrived at the lot, I wouldn’t have known where it was if I didn’t have the Tesla app. I understand it’s a busy season so the company still gets 4 stars.
I have used twice and Scott handled both trips. Both times went exactly as planned. If you need to ship a car this is the company.

David checked in with me just as needed without being pushy, and he delivered in what he said he would do. I have several friends who recommended him, and we wouldn’t use anyone else.
I’m extremely happy I found David / ShipACarDirect. Most people don’t know that big shipping companies simply broker the deal behind the scenes, and they squeeze the independent transport drivers as much as possible to pocket the difference. ShipACarDirect is different: David posted the job on my behalf, directly to the drivers. Needless to say, I got a driver in less than half a day compared to 6+ days (never) with RunBuggy and other shippers. The driver didn’t get squeezed, I payed less than I would have otherwise, and most importantly my car got shipped and delivered very quickly. Thank you David, I will think of no one else next time me or a friend needs to transport a vehicle.
Ordering and dealing with the main office in Florida was very good. Clear, concise, and very helpful. The only “downside”, if you can call it that, was the delivery date was delayed by one day. Even then, the driver was very nice and apologetic with a legitimate reason.

I had originally booked shipping through a different shipping company which turned out to be a disaster NO communication showed up to pick up the car the day it was supposed to be delivered then they canceled it because the driver couldn't drive stick.The next day i called Scott and he found a driver in 5 mins I booked everything around 1pm and 5 hrs later the car was picked up in Minnesota with the driver communicating with the seller several times and showed up with in 5 mins of the time he told the seller 3 hrs prior! Then the car was delivered to me a day early and again showed up at the time he had told me hours before. If I ever need a car hauler in the future Scott at Ship A Car Direct is the one who will be receiving a call

My agent, Lottie, was AMAZING! Excellent communication and follow through during the entire process. My car pickup was delayed by one day, but even that process was handled with competence and excellent customer service. The driver who transported my car (Eric) was also wonderful. Really nice people who are competent and helpful every step of the way and the price I was quoted ($1600) is the price I paid. No issues with trying to charge more upon delivery of the car. Don’t hesitate to use this company.
Overall, a great experience. This is the first time I have ever needed to ship a car. David was very helpful and patient as I navigated this as a rookie. This line of work has many variables due to fuel costs, roadway construction etc., he fully explained this and provided a couple different resources to review prior to making a decision. I submitted quotes from a total of 6 companies. Two never responded, three provided quotes but nothing as detailed as what David sent. Also, the others that I spoke with seemed more interested in getting me to commit than they were making sure I understood the process. If I ever need to ship a car again, I will call David and Ship A Car Direct first!

Ship-a-car did a great job communicating and handing it off to the transport company. For anyone shipping a car for first time, just know that you can’t know weeks ahead of time when your car will ship. But you will know a day or two before your car ships when they will pick up, and you get some choice of place to drop off the car (it’s not always exactly where your address is, but sometimes a shopping mall lot.) ship a car told me who the carrier will be, and Unified Trans Auto called me too. Driver at Unified is also awesome. Again, let’s say the car supposed to get here in 7-10 days, but it doesn’t always mean there’s a ETA. But on Wednesday they may text “oh we can get it to you this Friday morning and you can get the car and keys.” (This may be driver dependent though.) ship-a-car also has a smooth, non-buggy app to take photos with, but the car shipped well without any damages so there’s no issues there, just some dust from the coast-to-coast travel of over 2700 miles lol. TLDR: would use a car shipper again 100%, definitely beats driving cross country by myself!
