Fraser was reassuring throughout both transactions, putting my mind at ease whenever anxieties came up. He was clear and patient in answering my questions, and when we hit delays and obstacles during the process — the kind that couldn't be resolved by the solicitors alone — he stepped in and helped keep things moving.

The sale of my flat was a complicated one as the EWS cladding rating changed mid way through the process. This had a significant impact on lending options available for the buyers. At one point the sale was off but Fraser Pollok did an incredible and very professional job in getting the transaction back on track and introduced the buyers to a mortgage broker who managed to secure funding. Stirling Ackroyd were brilliant throughout and the sale most definitely wouldn’t have happened without their excellent input and relentless effort. Bravo !!

On my long and strenuous flat search, I was really looking for a vibe. I knew the basics (size, general area) but I was really searching for a feeling. I wanted charm, I wanted coziness, things I couldn’t quite quantify in a Rightmove filter.

When I first met Driskill at Stirling Ackroyd, not only did we bond over both being Texans in London (shout out!), but he understood the nuance of what I was looking for. We initially viewed two flats together, he listened to what I liked and didn’t like, and he took the feedback on so carefully.

Driskill sent me the listing of my flat, and it wasn’t one I’d necessarily consider viewing, but I trusted him. The second I walked up to the building, I got that feeling - I walked through the flat and I knew, this was the one I’d been searching for.
