They initially quoted a price lower than everyone else. One other company was very close in price but Sabrina called first. When the vehicle was ready to ship an increase in price was requested to ship the vehicle. I got pissed and I hired another company and they did the same exact thing (Sabrina mentioned they would do the same). Sounds like computer systems generate the quotes before the broker has had a chance to talk to a driver. The drivers usually request more than the board. I believe the other company had the exact same driver since all they talked about was how hard it is to find a driver for this route and how there is only one in the area. This was after multiple times I told them no to a price. They kept decreasing by $100 every time they called. Sabrina with US Car-Go Freight gave me a fair price up front that was substantially less than the other company. There is some shady stuff going on in this industry for sure. Although I don't agree on how this system/business is designed/operated I would work with Sabrina again.
