It’s still early on in my tenancy but so far it’s been very good overall. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

The room in the HMO I’m renting is lovely and spacious, by far the best value I’ve seen in Darlington for price and quality. The communal kitchen and areas are also outstanding.

The only issue I’ve had which is minor is the room wasn’t the cleanest upon moving in but that’s mainly from the gap between the last tenants moving out and also leaves etc from viewings they’ve had. Not a big deal overall though

Very happy with the service

On behalf of an elderly relative who had to go into care two years ago it became necessary to place her home of 60 years on the housing market to pay for her continuing care fees. As a result we consulted with a couple of estate agents. After discussing with the first firm and not being entirely happy with their comments and attitude we contacted Carvers and what a difference their care consideration expertise and efficiency demonstrated.
We approached them at the end of October 2025 and fully expected there to be no activity until spring 2026. Sonia the valuer attended within a couple of days and provided us with her expert views moving forward. A short time later a detailed brochure was produced which led to several viewings at the beginning of December 2025 and offers were received just days later and which has subsequently led to a sale completing last week.
Throughout the sale procedure we have been kept informed of all developments at all stages by all members of staff but in particular Alice who is a total credit to Carvers with her approachable courteous professional and friendly attitude and we have no hesitation whatsoever in thanking Carvers and highly recommending them.
