We are having such a very bad experience with Woods. We pay deposit for rent £400 and we make the enquiry for the touch up the house and cleaning before we move in and we have been waiting for 2 weeks for the landlord to answer but there is no answer about it during the waiting time we do the financing and other documents along and we just move to the UK from Thailand for 25 years (lived in Thailand) we clearly do not have the credit record in the UK and Woods asked us to give them the access to our bank account which is highly risk for us we don’t want to do it therefore we asked can we pay upfront 12 months we agree to rent and we agree to pay and they are the one to refuse us so clearly we cannot proceed …..and they don’t give the refund. What do you think about it. I have copy every emails as evidence. Our deposit is held even know we offer to pay upfront. Pls beware the credit check is mandatory and they will retain your deposit if fail to comply even you offer to pay upfront the full rent.
