Great company that really takes care of owners’ needs and the property. No profit-focused but business-oriented and based on honesty and transparency. Finding a truly exceptional property management company that is organised, communicative, and proactive is nearly impossible. I feel very lucky we found one!

I rarely do these trust pilot reviews, but I feel so strongly about how much of an impact WHR (Billy and Petra) have had at Jessica House development. I have one of over 60 flats in the development and WHR has been an absolute life saver for myself and all the residents.

So I honestly cannot recommend Billy and Petra at WHR Property Management highly enough. When they took over management of our building, the residents had zero trust in Galliard who have behaved despicably. Residents have been stressed and scared after the awful experience with Galliard homes so having
Billy and Petra come on board has been a much needed breath of fresh air. What sets them apart is that they clearly care, not just about the building, but about the people who live in it.

There are a plethora of positive things to say about WHR but I think there are two main things that stand out for me:
1. Their outstanding communication
2. Their ability to sort out issues quickly but effectively and properly
3. Their genuine kind nature as human beings

On communication, WHR are incredibly transparent in every decision they make. They always consult residents, present options, and pursue the right solution rather than the easiest one. As an example, when a serious problem emerged with some a part of our building work, WHR didn’t bury it. They came to residents, explained that things were worse than initially anticipated, set out a clear plan, and delivered on it. Another reflection that I had is how they are great at proactively communicating - for example Petra proactively started producing a monthly newsletter, and when there’s an issue - Billy and Petra are super quick to offer a video call with residents (usually in the evenings). After our last meeting I received 6 WhatsApp messages praising Billy and Petra for being genuinely kind people who care about residents’ safety and wellbeing.

With regard to fixing things, WHR have impressive responsive timelines. They somehow manage to fix things quickly but ensure that the job is not a “quick fix” but done properly. They are also able to clear distil the problem, its impact on the building, options for next steps and then suddenly have it sorted and dealt with. I have no idea how they manage to do this - but they consistently deliver.

Finally, as people, they’ve shown real care for not just our safety but our happiness and it’s clear that they understand the importance of being happy in your own home. As an example, we have a concierge man on a desk in the building. He is adored by residents, and Billy and Petra made sure he stayed after the handover from Galliard. I’ve never come across a management company that has that kind of thoughtfulness.

As a director of the residents’ group across 60+ flats, I can tell you that every single resident has come to me to express relief and gratitude since Billy and Petra came on board. When an issue arises there’s no longer mass panic. Residents barely worry at all because there is huge trust within Billy and Petra. The feeling in the building has shifted and people have discussed how they feel calmer, more secure, and looked after.

Appalling experience - as a property owner on a estate which is managed by WHR. Since August 2024 I have received erroneous invoices, threats of CCJs and then acknowledgements that they have caused billing issues.
On Thursday I received statements, invoices and a threatening letter that contained a number of errors. No one is responding to emails, no out of offices and no holding messages.

There is no one to go to and its incredibly distressing. The promises and written commitments to resolve issues are false. I cant imagine what its like as tenant of a rented property to deal with this company when they send out false and harassing threats when the issues are caused by their own billing issues.

WHRM has delivered outstanding property management services, exceeding expectations across cost control, communication, and overall service delivery. One of the most impressive achievements has been the significant reduction in block insurance costs from over £100,000 to under £80,000 within the same year. This reduction was achieved alongside improved insurance coverage, making the outcome even more impressive. Even more remarkably, the premium has been reduced further in the new service charge year, which is an incredible result and a clear reflection of WHRM’s expertise in risk management and insurer negotiation.

In addition to the insurance savings, WHRM successfully reduced expenses related to cleaning services and several other major building contracts, all while maintaining and in many cases improving the quality of service. These savings were delivered through smarter contract management, competitive bidding, and hands on oversight rather than cost cutting at the expense of standards.

Service delivery across the building has noticeably improved under WHRM’s management. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly, operations are well organised, and contractors are closely monitored. During the sale of our property, WHR took over the management of our development a few months before we moved.

I couldn’t recommend WHR Property Management enough, in particular Shane. A team that go above and beyond. I like just how good they are at communicating with the individual, especially as we’re all so pressed for time.

WHR took over our building management recently from previous company (Haus - highly disrecommebd Haus - so many issues, deceit, no competency), and although it’s only been a month, I’ve been blown away by the level of communication and agility / speed with which they get things done.

Specifically, I had sold my flat just as WHR took over management - I had paid previous management for a sales pack, they didn’t reply to any of me or solicitors emails (for a month) turns out this now sat with WHR, and I had to chase Haus for them to refund payment.

As soon as I email WHR, they replied instantly and delivered the sales pack within 2 days and for half the amount requested by Haus.

Honestly it’s been so easy with them - finally experiencing what a good management company can do.

WHR is the best thing that ever happened to my development after endless years of FirstPort misery. Billy is responsive, communicative, transparent, hardworking, and genuinely goes the extra mile to find solutions. The resilience and humour he's shown taking us through RTM and dealing with FirstPort is quite astonishing. It finally feels as if we, as residents, have transparency and input into costs. We're a big development and it's not an easy job, but Billy and his team are fantastic. It's such a relief to have a company that openly tries to save you money rather than fleecing you at every opportunity.

Thank goodness for WHR…We finally managed to get rid of First Port through a RTM and the difference is amazing!
