One of the worst experiences of my life. I honestly find it shocking that the agent, Leah Coyne, is even allowed to work in this position. I don’t know how Betterhomes accepts to tarnish its reputation by having her in the team. I have never experienced such an unprofessional level of service before.

At first, the impression was normal and polite, but later it became clear that there was constant pressure, misleading promises, and aggressive sales tactics. I was repeatedly pushed to make payment immediately, being told that the apartment would be gone right away and that I could not wait if I wanted to secure it. It strongly felt like her only priority was to receive her commission as quickly as possible.

In short, we viewed an apartment that we really liked. However, questions regarding the property were answered late and unclearly. First, I was told it was acceptable to pay the agency fee and deposit in cash, then later I was told it was not acceptable. After that, I was instructed to transfer the money first and that the contract would be signed immediately once the payment was received.

I then waited three working days for confirmation of my payment, and even longer until we were finally able to sign the contract. During the entire process, I found the communication disrespectful, unfriendly, and very frustrating.

I understand that Leah may still be learning, as she does not yet have her own license and appears to be working under her manager’s supervision. However, basic professionalism and respectful communication with clients should be expected at any level.

Furthermore, several agreed points were not respected. I was not allowed to move in without cheques, even though I had already paid everything, including the first payments and required cheques. I was told I needed to provide the cheques first for “security reasons” before receiving access to the apartment.

I explained clearly that I was in the process of receiving my Emirates ID and therefore unable to open a bank account yet. This situation was completely outside of my control, and due to local administrative delays, it took longer than expected. Despite this, the contract had already started, and I was required to pay for an apartment that I could not access. At the same time, I also had to pay for a hotel because I still had no place to stay.

Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and highly unprofessional experience.

The apartment itself is excellent, and the landlord has been kind, helpful, and supportive. If I had not urgently needed a place to move into, I would have fought for my rights and ensured that Leah did not receive any commission. That commission would have been better given to someone who actually knows how to communicate and treat people properly.

To be fair, Betterhomes as a company is not the issue here. My complaint refers solely to the poor support and experience I had with the agent Leah.

Betterhomes has been managing my building, and they are doing an excellent job. The property manager, Mrs. Nivine, is consistently available and always responsive to our needs. It’s reassuring to have such a reliable and dedicated team. Highly recommended.

I’m currently staying at Meraikhi Tower 1 and it has been a really good experience so far.

The building is clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable to live in. Any maintenance issues are handled quickly, which makes things easy and stress-free.

A special thanks to Sumesh – they are always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever needed.

Overall, I’m happy staying here and would definitely recommend Meraikhi Tower 1 and Betterhomes to anyone looking for a nice and well-managed place to live.

I have been a tenant with Betterhomes for the past 2 years at Al Meraikhi Tower, and overall my experience has been very good.
I would especially like to appreciate Sumesh Kasi, the property manager. He has always been very supportive whenever there was any issue, and he handles everything quickly and professionally. His approach towards tenants is very friendly and respectful, which makes a big difference.
Honestly, he is a real asset to Betterhomes. Good service and good behaviour like this is not common everywhere.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company. The agent Asim and conveyancer Nadeem showed a complete lack of professionalism.

I was following up for more than a month to get the NOC , and they didn’t even submit the request. In the end, I had to step in myself and use my own connections to get the VCM NOC issued within 2 days.

After that, I tried multiple times—calls, messages, and emails—to get the necessary documents from the owner’s side to complete the process, but there has been no response at all.

As of today, I am still waiting with no updates. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend dealing with this company.

I ended up buying a townhouse with the help of Sahar at Better Homes and she was a breath of fresh air compared to the dozens of other agents and brokers I spoke to. She was one of the first agents to actually follow up when she said that she would and found us a great property. It was an exceptional experience from beginning to end and renewed my faith in real estate agents in Dubai.

Very disappointing experience.
I had a viewing scheduled at 12:00 PM with Amber, but she arrived more than an hour late without proper notice. This showed a lack of professionalism and respect for my time. Unfortunately, the experience did not feel serious or reliable. I would not recommend based on this interaction.

Marcella was able to find me a great 1-bedroom Downtown apartment, and seal the rental agreement in less than a day from viewing. It was my first time renting in Dubai and she took time to explain the whole process. She always gave time and space, which I find quite rare with agents and admirable!

Would definitely reach out to her again!
